why we GIVE
We believe that tithes and offerings are not so much giving to God, but are about returning to Him some of what He's trust us with.
Giving is a form of worship. It is one way we express our appreciation for all the ways God has blessed us and our trust that He will take care of of us.
Beyond covering our regular expenses, financial giving is used to be generous to those in need.
Believers in the early church were often commended for their giving, including in Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians, where he made it clear that their generosity would be blessed.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work"
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
At SRCC we invite you to give as the Lord leads and inspires you. Together, we are advancing the gospel.
Ways to give
e-transfer
You can give online through e-transfer. E-Transfer donations are automatically deposited to the SRCC bank account.

Donations received without instruction will be directed to the General Fund. Please include a message if you would like all or some of the funds to be directed to the mission of the month, or a specific mission supported by SRCC.
Offering Box
Prefer giving in person? We don't pass a plate around during the service. Instead we have an offering box on the back wall of our auditorium for cash and cheques.
Offering can be placed in the box anytime Sunday morning. Envelopes are available on request for those who would like to receive a charitable donation receipt.
